What happens when someone puts you down? You feel like you shrink right? But what happens when someone praises you for your good efforts, your abilities and talents? You can almost feel yourself growing just at the thought. The law of attraction called the law of increase could also be called the law of praise because whatever we praise grows. Everything that is praised grows, from a small child, to a plant, to a business.
The Power of Praise
When we praise something we tune into the heightened power of gratitude. There is a powerful vibrational frequency that happens in our bodies, at the cellular level, when we feel grateful for something, especially if it is deeply felt. Your bodies literally sing in the vibration of gratitude and praise.
Raymond Holliwell said, “Praise is an avenue through which the spiritual law expresses itself. " When we tap into the power of praise we tap into the law of life. We elevate ourselves, along with whatever we praise. It expands the consciousness and brings us into closer alignment with the divine force of the universe.
Using the Power of Praise
Since whatever we praise grows, it follows that whatever we want to see more of we should praise. But it is not enough to praise with our lips, the praise must be in our hearts. Praise in our heart enters into the vibration of the universe and increases what we have praised.
The Buddhist tradition calls this “transmission." When we transmit our praise energy to others we raise the vibration of those around us and that energy than transmits back to us. Our bodies are energy, and everything we see around us is energy. Praise it, and it will glow.
Praise Changes Our Observation
Praise will bring us into higher energetic frequencies, but on a purely psychological level it also brings us into a clearer state of mind. We begin to see the things we wish for all around us all the time. We look past the bad in people, their shortcomings and failures, and seek out the good and wise and beautiful. Our mind begins to have praiseworthy thoughts and sets up a whole new system of thinking based on what is good and true.
When we praise each other and increase the good in each other we are tapping into the absolute good that is the essence of all things. If we could only see how amazing each individual person is, how beautiful, how connected and divine, we would walk around in a state of bliss every day.
Staying Open to the Good
When we are in a state of gratitude and thanksgiving we allow the outpouring of good from the universe into our lives because we become receptive to it through equalizing our vibration. Through working with the law of increase, we will inevitably raise our consciousness, grow as spiritual beings, and manifest the things we want to see in our lives.

This is true and i have seen it in my life. Praise does contribute a lot.

The principle of law of attraction is beyond explanation in my simple thinking. In my own experience, i can say it really worked. Though i did not really think much about it. Unconsciously, i was doing it, and thing happened just as if its a magnetic field that attracts one another. It helped much in many thing i did and in my plans in life.

Good hub, glad you wrote about it, but personally I don't believe if you praise someone they will grow. I believe if you are serious about yourself and what you are about you will naturally grow. Praise does contribute to it, but it plays a small part being that the individual is naturally driven verses looking for the drive to be driven. Then it becomes a ego thing if they don't hear or get what they want or need to make themselves feel good. Or sometimes it gets worst, they will do whatever they feel they have to do even if it defiles or hurts someone just to be praised. Now this is when things get out of hand and ugly, and depending on who you're dealing with you don't want that!
